Anything but a Square over at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog...

Hello again,

I'm here to share with you my DT inspiration for the challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog.
Our theme this time is....Anything but Square!

Now, regular followers of my blog and my Facebook page will know by now my fear of shaped cards but that's just what the boss challenge us to do this time, so here it is.....

Can't honestly say I had fun making the shape, but putting it all together I really enjoyed :D
All the elements used apart from the pearls, string beads, pearl string, lace and berries were all from the Festive Hollybobs CD from the Work and Play series over at Polkadoodles.

The 'shape' itself was made using the small Christmas Pudding embellishment from Festive Hollybobs that I enlarged and then cut on my sillouette.  I then made a basic round easel card template on the sillouette and made a plate shape for the base.

I printed the Christmas Pudding again on 160gsm paper so I could decoupage up the holly on the top (with glitter of course) and I also printed out the penguin embellishment 3 times to add to the design.  The backing paper is actually small snowballs and is also from Festive Hollybobs.

The main image (coloured in my Graph'it Marker Pens, what a surprise) is a digi available individually or on the collection - which is a far better way to buy digi stamps; you recieve the most fab digi papers, the gorgeous digi characters, pre-coloured characters for when you're in a hurry and then a ton of embellishments, sentiments, templates, cut files, and so much more - please check it out here.

Now for photo overload to see the details lol:

So, that's it from me, but please check out the rest of the design teams fabulous creations over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and I can't wait to see your entries :D

Thank you for popping by and please leave me a comment as it is really fabulous to read your thoughts of my creations :D

Happy Crafting
