Wow I totally love this theme! Its the 2nd of the month and that can only mean one thing...the launch of a new challenge at the Crafting Muskateers Challenge Blog.
So what's the theme - Autumn colours!
I love Autumn! For regular visitors you will have seen in my info that we live in leafy Leicestershire, surrounded by glorious woodlands and walks. Autumn is so totally awesome in the countryside as you can imagine...colours everwhere is muted colours, scarfs and jackets and occassionaly we get to where our wellies...totally stress free and relaxing.
So, this feeling of Autumm I took into my design for this months challenge...Oh and I must mention the sponser this month - The Hobby House - and there is an awesome prize up for grabs on the main blog page if you want to hop over :)
So...enough of my waffle, here is my DT inspiration design:
I have chosen to use an image called Amelia with basket from the fabulous digi download collections at Polkadoodles. She is a part of the Pretty Sweet CD collection but is available on her own too! She is coloured using my Graph'it Marker Pens. (my first attempt at black hair!!!).
The backing papers are also from the Pretty Sweet CD and I have matted and layered onto Kraft card throughout. The large flower is using the Tim Holtz bigz die (which I love) and I have used a mixture of linin and book pages to make the flower. The bunting is a little special! It is a part of the brand new release from Polkadoodles called Winston and you will be able to find it on the main Polkadoodles page. It is a cut file that I took into my sillouette and if you get a chance to peek at the website...boy, its a fabulous collection!
Thank you so much for visiting and please remember to leave me a comment as I love reading your feedback xx it is much appriciated :)
So take a hop over to the Crafting Muskateers Challenge Blog and I look forward to seeing all your crafty makes :)
UPDATE: this design made DT Top 3 for Digi Choosday :D
