Distress it up!

Hello all,

A quick post from me today, I was playing around yesterday getting back to my inks and distressing (I love it and have somehow managed to stray away too long!) and wanted to share what I came up with :)

Its Polkadoodle meets Tim Holtz!


I have used the gorgeous Oriental Dollie digi image from Polkadoodles Dollie Goes East full collection CD and coloured her with my Graph'it Marker Pens. I cut her out and then set about distressing her with a range of inks (see below for colour list).


I mounted the image onto a tag I had already distressed, adding torn book pages, dollies and lace and a Tim Holz tag pinned on with pearl headed pins.

For the base I used Tim Holz stamps (my fav bird) to add detail to the baking and again distressed it, I then used a strip of card (torn at either end) also distressed to put across the base adding detail and depth.

Graph'it Markers:
Skin: 4120, 4115, 4155, 4170, 4145, 4135
Clothes: 7220, 7240, 7260, 5110, 4145, 4135
Hair: 3110, 3170, 3190

Distress ink: Broken China, Aged Mahogany and Scattered Straw

Distress Stickles: Scattered Straw

    Love it! Such beautiful colors. I too have neglected my inks for far to long! Got them out the other day and thought why don't I use these more! After seeing this in even more determined to play with them on a regular basis! X
