Using chipboard heart shapes, one large, one small I punched holes ready for the twine to hang them.
Now the great bit..use up those scraps!
Using backing papers that you have lying around run through your stash until you find some matching pieces, working with colour tones will always give you a winner.
I used a piece of wallpaper! We had a few sample pieces from a shopping trip to narrow down choices from my twins and their bedroom and they fitted perfectly for what I wanted to do...
I cut out leaves and the bird from the wallpaper sample and glued them on with tacky pva, then as you can see from the photo below I added more detail to the bird blending in with my Graph'it markers...they are never far away!
