Anything but a card over at the Crafting Muskateers...

Hello again,

Oh my I had fun with this one :D  The theme for November's challenge over at Crafting Muskateers Challenge Blog is Anything but a card and our fabulous sponser is Delicious Doodles.

Oh my, I was not familiar with Delicious Doodles but when they sent the Design Team the images to play with, oh my was I one happy crafter.  Check out their shop as they have an amazing range from cute to delicious dark images...but back to my DT creation...

I decided to make an altered notebook, but I wanted to show that altered notebooks don't have to be dark or distressed, so I made mine a Christmas Wishes notebook that I am going to give to one of my teenagers so she can write all her favourite inspirational quotes in :D

The image I have used is called 'Mistletoe Kiss' from Delicous Doodles and I have coloured her with my Graph'it Marker Pens (the reds in this collection are just so lush).  I matted the image on white card to give it a frame and then started to cover the notebook (its an A6 notebook that comes in a pack of two from our local Poundshop!).

The backing papers I have chosen to use are from Polkadoodles Festive Hollybobs CD that is so versatile you can use it with all your other goodies.  I added a die cut from Tattered Lace (cupcake doilie, but I cut off the cupcake), some lace and a string of pearls.

For the inside I again used Festive Hollybobs from Polkadoodles, this time using the gorgeous postcards for a secret pocket inside the front cover and used the fabulous full year calendar for the inside back cover....
