Christmas Fairy Wishes...

Hello again,

I just wanted to pop in and share another of my Spectrum Noir Educational Design Team samples for the brand new Crafter's Companion rubber stamp sets by Morgan Fitzsimmons.

I love stamping with actual stamps, digi's are brilliant and so versatile in their own way, but I adore the feel of an 'actual' stamp and how you can change the look, mask and change your mind with ease!

Anyway, moving on (lol) for this one I decided to use one of the stamps and make her a Christmas Fairy instead...

Here's the materials list for her:

1.     This stamp was coloured  using pens from the Basic 72 sets of Spectrum Noir only:

Style: 7x7 Tent-fold
Morgan Fitzsimmons Stamp set
Basic Spectrum Noirs:
Skin: FS2, 6, TN2, PP1 & blender
Hair: GB8, 10
Clothes: BT1, 2, 4, 5
Wings/gloves: DR7, 5, CR11, 10, 8  & Clear Spectrum Sparkle Pen
Sheena’s Stamping Card
Nordic 8x8 Embossing folder  - Snowflake
NB: Embossed card then coloured with Clear Spectrum Sparkle Pen
Die’sire Edge’able – Christmas Snowflake

Frantage, ribbon, flowers & berries, corner rounder punch

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment as I love hearing from you all xxx

You can get this stamp and the others in the range HERE on the Crafter's Companion Website

All of the Spectrum Noir markers used are from the BASIC SETS, so if you have the markers from the smaller basic packs (72 pens in total) the colour blends available will allow you to create some awesome combo's.

I will be sharing more samples which will also only use the basic 72 pen set so make sure you click to follow my blog so you can check out the combo's and maybe add a few to the ones you have found already :D

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really do appriciate every view and comment and I do hope you enjoyed popping by.

Make sure you take a lookout for the new Morgan Fitzsimmons range at Crafter's Companion as there are exciting times ahead :D

Love playing with new skin tones...

Hello again,

I love taking inspiration from fellow crafters, especially different colour combinations for my markers.  We all approach our colouring in a different or slightly different way, creating our own style, so when we see a tutorial or a design that we just swoon at we love to take a peek at the colours used and write them in colour journals (yes, the ever growning book where I write down all my combo's)....

So here's one of my latest combo's based on an awesome tutorial by
Using HB2 SPECTRUM NOIR in my skin tones...

Here's all the bits you need to know:
1.
Inspiration: Adding Skin Shades with HB2 by Dilyana
Link for you to check out the tutorial and give it a go:
Image: Little Darlings, Dollhouse Precious Dolls, Wings
(I wanted her to be summery but with subtle colour tones, a different interpration of Summer, half light brings such fab tone's to my garden which  was the inspiraton here) x

Spectrum Noir Markers:
Skin: FS1, 3, 7, HB2
Hair: EB6, 7, 8, True Black
Dress: GB4, 6, 7, 9
Wings : JG1, 5, 6, 7, GG2

Neenah Solar White Card
Die'sire Lace Flower die set with leaf die
Backing papers, ribbon, flowers from my stash
