April Inspiration...

Hello there,

I found a fabulous tutorial for my inspired by post this month as a part of the Spectrum Noir Education Design Team...its using yellows!

Not a simple thing for me, it's not a colour I am drawn too and seem to dodge if I can.  I'm not sure why but its always seemed a strange colour to me lol

So, in the spirit of pushing out of my comfort zone I have used a fabulous tutorial and you can find it HERE by Mari Kocjancic

Watercolour Step by Step Video with Spectrum Sparkle

Stepping into Spring Colours

Hello there,

I decided to use another of the new release images from That Craft Place to bring some spring colour onto my crafty desk (and yes, its watercolour and those that know me know I can't do anything without making a mess lol) so I'd love to share it with you.

No spring flowers, but instead a fabulous Sun and spring colours in the image and papers, just a touch, as to me, Spring is about colour just starting to push through the grey haze of winter skies.

Feeling Inspired with Watercolour

Todays make was inspired by my uber talented teamie, Laine and you can find her tutorial HERE

This got me inspired to pick up my Aqua Markers again and here's what I came up with...

Starting with the Box!

Hello there,

I finally caught onto the whole make a gift box thing at the end of last year (how weird is it to say that lol) as time was always against me but it really doesn't take as much time as I thought and I don't have to fight with wrapping papers any more!

Here is a box I made for my Nephew's Birthday that has a featured image on the top, coloured with my gorgeous Spectrum Aqua Pens



Added advantage of using the image...I don't have to remember to post the card too, its on the box!

Sparkly Skies...

Hello there,

The Spectrum Sparkle Pens are water based which means I can use them to do colour washes and faux bleaching!

Catch them Quick on Create and Craft!

So, for one of my samples I just had to do a sky!  Love doing colour wash sky's...

Spectrum Aqua Wallet Tutorial - finishing touches

Hello there,
