Never too Early...

Hello there,

I know I know it's only just past Christmas and the decoration boxes are still on the landing waiting to go in the loft but here's my thinking...

For most of us, Christmas cards are a last minute rush and we all loose our mojo and I end up not enjoying the actual thing we love...creating gorgeous cards!

So...I am going to try and make a Christmas card every month or every 5 makes throughout the year...now that's a challenge!

Here's number 1 for the new Challenge starting today over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog

Here's wehat I used to make her:

Super Smooth card
Navy Centura Pearl card
Die'sire Dottie A4 Embossing Folder
Spectrum Noir markers:
Skin: FS2, 4, 6, 8, TN2
Hair: GB10, 6
Clothes: CR11, DR5, 7, TB2, 4, 6, IG3, 4, 6
Collal All Purpose and Tacky Glue
Cosmic Shimmer White Glitter Texture Paste

I really hope you can join in the Anything Goes Challenge and hop over to the That Craft Place to check out the other Button Box Fairy's and tons of awesome digi's.  This one is Twinkle!

Thank you so so so much for stopping by

New Release is out YAY...meet Bubbles!

Hello again :D

It's brand new release time!  I loooove new releases...

That Craft Place has a new range of digi stamps in the Etsy shop - Bubbles!  So with several new characters to choose from I decided to make a set of note cards and a wallet to keep them in so I could showcase a few of them together (couldn't decide if I only had one, they are all just lush).  I have to thank the totally awesome Ginny from her own blog, RubberMAD for making me think of note cards...she showcased a set of 6 a few weeks back (although her colouring is way way better) and that gave me the idea to try something similar :D

So here it is...

There are 2 note cards each side, the other two are underneath...see the pics further down...
Here's the important stuff:
The brand new images can be found here in the That Craft Place Etsy Shop
Don't forget to share your That Craft Place makes in the That Craft Place Natter and Chatter FB group

Crafty materials can be found at That Craft Place Facebook Group or their bricks and mortar shop
The backing paper is printed on textured card and the pattern was made in Craft Artist 2 pro and the rest is Graphic 45 Precious Moments
I also used red card, kraft card, purple, orange and blue card, Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic glue, bakers twine, paper clips, black card and twine
The dies used for all of the die cuts is: MFT Dienamics Blueprints 11

Here's some more pics:

Thank you so much for stopping by and I really hope you follow my little blog so I can keep sharing crafting with you :D

So, the new release Bubbles digi stamps can be found HERE and I adore them :D

Happy Crafting :D

Use a Die Cut for the Crafting Muskateers Birthday!

Hello again,

It's the 2nd Birthday for the Crafting Muskateers Challenge Blog and we are launching our May challenge today too!

The theme is Use a Die Cut and there are 2 fabulous sponsors this month too...The Hobby House and JGD Crafts!  Both are gorgeous craft shops so please pop on over and join in the challenge to be in with a chance of winning some goodies.

Being a Design Team member has its perks, one of which is we get to play with some totally amazing stamps.  As you know I'm also on a couple of other DT's and when I joined the totally awesome That Craft Place team their challenge was sponsored by All Dressed Up Digital Stamps so I got to play with this darling image, but I was too late to hook it into the challenge (which was ages ago and I can't believe I had forgotten about this gorgeous stamp!), so I thought I'd show her with the Crafting Muskateers for the first time...

Little Flower Girl from All Dressed Up

I used this card for a commission make and the recipient was very happy too :D

'Dreaming'...From the pen of the fabulous Slinky Tart

Hello Again,

It's another Friday DT inspiration from me today showcasing the amazing art of Tamara van Wijk aka Slinky Tart

Looking back over my last few weeks of blogging I seem to have been in a very eclectic mood lately!  I really have swung around just about every medium in the last few weeks!  At least you can't say I'm stuck in a rut lol!

Today, I've gone all girly again, because this image just cried out for a garden to dream in!

Here is...Dreaming by Slinky Tart

Lots of layers as she's looking over, wandering

I didn't have many scraps this time, so I used coordinating cardstock as the insert, just adding a touch of the matching paper as a banner at the top.
Here's the how's and what's:
I have coloured Dreaming with copics and then die cut her and the mats with My Favourite Things Pierced Circle Stax die's (yes, again lol but they're my fav!).
All the mat's (not the image) where then embossed using an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion magazine issue 6 (its packed full).  The sentiment stamp is also from the magazine freebies x
The gorgeous papers are all from Time For Tea Botanicals by Graphic 45 and you can get this and all of my lace and embellies from That Craft Place
I have on this one made all my own flowers...and I love the fan flowers, first time I have done them and I think they look awesome :D

Here's the close ups:

Thank you so much for stopping by, and if you like what you see, it would be great if you clicked to follow my little blog so I can share with you next time too :D

Here are the important links for you to check out:
Slinky Tart Blog to see the rest of the gorgeous DT's inspiration makes :D

Rosey Hearts Inspiration....

Hello again,

I know, twice in one day!  I need a lay down! lol

This week I'm sharing a make using a darker image from Rosey Hearts, or at least that's how I interpreted it!  I had wanted to try a monochrome look again with my Copic's so this seemed the perfect image to do that with...I added just a splash of colour...hope you like it :D

Image - Dragon Girl by Rosey Hearts

As this was a fairly simple make, just lots of layering I won't bore you with a 'how to' this time, I'm sure you're all now doing a happy dance lol

So here's what I used:
Image: Dragon Girl coloured with Copic's; I used the E50's plus E49 on the girl to get the monochrome look
6x6 inch card blank
Backing papers - from The Works
Black card stock, buttons, string and bakers twine
See told you it was a simple make :D

Here's the close ups:

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to hop over to the Rosey Hearts Blog to see the gorgeous creations the Design Team have been up to this week :D

Don't forget, the Rosey Hearts Etsy Shop and there is also a monthly challenge too, you can still enter this months if you hop on over HERE

Happy Crafting :D
