Add a touch of Magic!

Hello there,

It's new challenge day over at That Crafdt Place Blog so I have my design team inspiration for you!

The theme is always anything goes, so you can let your imagination run wild!

I have coloured up 'It's Magic' Bubbles from the That Craft Place Etsy store...

Isn't he just a darling!

Materials used:
Spectrum Noir markers:
Skin - TN2, FS2, 4, 6, 8; Hair - BG1, 3, 5; Clothes - PL1, 3, 5, GB10, 6; and stars are FL2
MDF heart, clock and arrow heart - That Craft Place
MDF covered with Creative Expressions Lilac Shimmer texture paste and the other is using Creative Expressions Glitter texture paste then covered with embossing powder and heating
Papers - very old from my stash
Card - Matt Black and Ivory Stamping Card
Collal glues

A little dance with That Craft Place

Hello there,

Me again and its another new challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge Blog

With an Anything Goes theme its sometimes hard to pin down what to do so me and the rest of the design team are here with some inspiration xxx

Mine follows on from my Spectrum Noir Skin Combo Tutorial, posted on the That Craft Place Challenge Blog on the 13th January, hop back and check it out if you missed it.

Here's what I used to make her:

Spectrum Noir Markers:
Skin: FS2, 4, 6, 87, TN2
Hair: EB6, 7, 8 plus Spectrum Colour Blend pencils Black, Charcol
Clothes: CT1, 2, CG2, GB8, 6

Copic Opaque White -highlights to image

Papers - Craftwork Cards, Botanical paper pad (from my stash, and an old favourite)
Card - Kraft and Cream card used
Straw, flowers, ribbon from my stash

Words over at That Craft Place Challenge

Hello there,

Well it has been said that I'm never short of words!  so this fortnight's challenge over at That Craft Place Challenge should be a doddle! lol  So with the theme of Words, I decided to team it up with a brand new release digi stamp, a new edition to the Bubbles range at That Craft Place Etsy store

I have used:
Papermainia Paper for the backing and black card stock, twine to make this 7x7 card and I have made sure that all of the over-hangs (top tip again lol) don't excede 8x8 so it fits in a standard 8x8 envelope :D

Before printing, I added a background in Craft Artist 2, I made this one using stencils within the program from Daisy Trail

I have coloured him with Spectrum Noir markers:
Skin: FS2, 4, 9, TN3, CR3
Hair: EB2, 5, 7
Clothes: IG1, 2. CR1, 2, 3

And finally added the wording, cut using the 1" Contemporary Alphabet die's (upper and lower case) by Crafters Companion, and don't forget that That Craft Place also stock Crafter's Companion products :D  superb! xxx

There's something special going on today at Rosey Hearts...

Hello again,

Well, as its Friday I know that I want to share with you a fabulous image from Rosey Hearts but there's a 'but' today.....

Melissa came up with a new digital stamp and I challenged the team to all make a project with the same image to show just how versatile stamps can be!

I also have my coloured release pic for you (got to do the day job lol) but you will have to scroll down to see that one lol

You need to hope over to the main ROSEY HEARTS BLOG to see what other members of the team have been up to with the same image...

The image is Up Do!

She is totally funky!

I have kept the design simple...
Crafters Companion - coordinations cardstock, Embossilicious 8x8 embossing folder, guilding wax, Die'sire Ivy Die
Rolled flowers from the waste cut with a 1" circle punch, bead centres from my stash and a Sukura Gelly  Glitter pen for highlights.
That Craft Place - black cardstock, Super Smooth cardstock for my Copics, Copic refills and Copics, Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic glue (my fav glue)

I adore gilding wax over embossed card!  So easy yet so so so effective x

As promised....here is another MERMAID so I don't let my New Release Team down lol.....

She's dreamy....Coloured with my Copics and my now infamous bubbles lol

New Release Inspiration

Hello Again,

An extra post from me today to showcase some brand new designs from a new Digital Stamp Shop called, Rosey Hearts

I had the fabulous opportunity to play with some of the new releases and I'd love to share them with you...

I have made a full project with Pisces from the Zodiac range of digital stamps...

I loved working with this one, and my first mermaids on my blog! lol

I have also managed to colour up some other new releases, so I thought I'd share them too even though there not on a card yet lol
