New Beginnings...butterflies and congratulations

Hello again,

It's my turn to offer an inspirational make using the gorgeous images by Tamara that are available in the Slinky Tart shop

Don't forget before you leave to pop over to the main blog to see what the other DT's have made this week...you can find it HERE

Here's my showcase today...
Image: Baby Processing by Slinky Tart

Tip:  Use off cuts from your matting and layering to make matching inserts

I love the mix of the expectant Mummy with the Butterfly background, transformations, new beginnings and all of those Spring emotions :D

Here's the how's and what's:
The image is Baby Processing by Slinky Tart, printed on Super Smooth card from That Craft Place.  I have coloured her with Copics and added Shabby Green Frantage
The main focus die cuts are MFT's stitched circles (defo my new obsession lol) and I have used 3 different sizes to add dimension and edged each with distress ink
The backing paper is from Craftwork Cards, Botanical paper pad (from That Craft Place) and I have covered the whole card base.  I then added hand pleated pink spiders webbing with super strong tape, layering the circle die cuts on top as in the pics.
Details added are:  Xcut butterfly die cut, edged with glamour dust glitter; xcut butterfly medium palm punch, layered several times and cut from the off cuts of the backing paper; Joanna Sheen bunting die cut from the off cuts.
The sentiment is from Inkylicious and is part of the 'dancing in the rain' stamp set, stamped with black Versafine ink.

Here's the close ups:
Dimension added by using different heights

Copic's - I'm not confident with the pinks lol

a touch of Glamour Dust for sparkle

My signature multi layered punched Butterflies!

Sentiment hidden in the design, to be apart of the whole

Texture adds another element to any design
Thank you once again for stopping by and I hope you now follow my little blog to see what's coming up next...I have a new adventures to share in the coming weeks with very special new products!
