Love Is In The Air!

Hello Again,

Love is in the air over at the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog and I'm here to share my DT inspiration for the current theme Valentine's or Love Sentiment!  And remember the sentiment is a must for Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog so don't forget to pop one on :D

Our fab sponsor this time is Lacy Sunshine and we got some gorgeous digi's to play with..I chose one of my total fav's as you will see....here she is....



It's either the new paper pack or these fabulous digi's but again I really like how this one came out :D

Here's what I used:
Image: Rory Love Letters by Lacy Sunshine
Colour and card: 300gsm super smooth card from That Craft Place coloured with my Graph'it Marker pens (sorry no colours but her hair is my fav blonde combo of late and is 1210, 1230, 1280, 3125 and 3160)
Backing paper:  Postcards from Paris paperpack by Craftwork Cards from That Craft Place
Sentiment: I hand wrote my sentiment of 'Love You' in black micron pen and put it in a tiny frame from my stash.
The die cuts were done on my sillouette and the Embellies were all from my stash, which I re-stock monthly from the fabulous That Craft Place

Here's how:
This one is simple layers.  The image is matted on white and then edged with cosmic shimmer blue guilding wax and distress ink in Victorian velvet.  I have also coloured the die cuts with Victorian velvet.  The postcard edging at the top and the extra layered up postcards are cut from the off cuts of the backing paper!  The papers in the pad are so very versatile that I am in love with it so much!
I then just added a variety of embellies, pink metal paper clips and a wooden bird until I was happy with the finished result (I don't really plan or if I do it always ends up being completely different that I first thought lol).
