A little bit more from me..

Hello again,

A little extra post from me today using an image I just love...

Art by MiRan are having a DT call!  I've not had a run of good luck recently but I think we are supposed to enjoy the journey and look for the good things around us, and as I love Mi Ran's work I decided to complete this make, put it forward and enjoy the journey xxx

So here is my entry...

Here's what I used:
Image: With a little Love from Art by MiRan
Backing papers: from my stash, 12 x 12 papers from American Crafts
Products used with image: coloured with Copic sketch markers onto 300gsm super smooth card from That Craft Place (it also comes in 160gsm so you have a choice for which works best for you) and then I added Frantage by Stampendous in Shabby Green
Embellies used are all from my stash - but I have also used a broken necklace and some beads from a broken bracelet
Top Tip: I have shared this before by its worth offering again...when making the frill at the bottom, I don't by expensive rushed or pleated ribbons or voile as they can be expensive.  I use my hot glue gun and a large metal ball embossing tool to make my own.  Start by putting glue on the place you start then place the ribbon on the glue to one side then use the ball tool to scrunch the ribbon on the other side of the glue, into the glue.  Then repeat this every 1.5 inches until you have reached the other side!  This means that you can pleat it as much or little as you like and you can add twists and turns whenever you want!  Great result, flexible and cheaper than the alternatives!  Fab-tastic x

I really hope you like my make for today, I am always worried about my own designs!  but then I am sure that most of us crafter's are at one time or another.  I must say that I was pleased with all its little elements.  Art by MiRan is a fabulous stamp range and I love the variety and imagination of Mi Ran in her drawings.  As I am standing down from another team in a few weeks the timing is just perfect to chuck my hat in the ring for Mi Ran's DT :D

Here's the close ups that will show it better than I can explain it, and hopefully show my style for the DT:

Thank you so much for stopping by and I would love it if you click the buttons to follow me for more of my crafty makes :D

I hope that the DT and Mi Ran enjoyed dropping by and I would be so happy to join this fabulous team xxx
